Since he was a teenager, he has travelled the world from California to Croatia writing about music, surviving death threats, mosh-pits and nearly shooting Ozzy Osbourne along the way. His work has appeared in numerous publications including Kerrang!, Melody Maker, Q, Uncut and Careless Talk Costs Lives. A collection of Ben Myers’ interviews, American Heretics: Rebel Voices In Music, was published to widespread critical acclaim in 2002 and Muse: Inside The Muscle Museum followed in 2004. He has published a number of short stories and poems and his debut novel was recently published. He also runs a punk rock record label and arts collective, Captains Of Industry (www.captainsof.com).
