I.M.P. also acts as a publishing and marketing consultant for major global brands, introducing underground and leadingedge bands, designers, artists, promoters, writers and web experts to the corporate world. Product placement involving major celebrities as well as breaking artists is a specialism, as is the creation of bespoke books and editorial copy.

For example, I.M.P. produced the Dr. Martens book, which explores the rich history and culture of the brand. A host of international celebrities gave their permission to be featured, including Pete Townshend, The Clash, Prodigy, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Anthrax, Polly Harvey, Sinead O'Connor, Depeche Mode and Henry Rollins, amongst others. The book's first print run was 500,000 copies and was distributed by Dr. Martens across the globe as a promotional item.

I.M.P. also packages box set and special limited edition CD releases for record companies, having worked with major labels such as Virgin, Sony, XL and Universal. This includes sleeve note compilation and all aspects of design and print production. I.M.P. also project manages corporate and private exhibitions, such as the acclaimed two month project on youth culture at the Conran Design Museum and a four week rock photography exhibition in central London. This service includes all artefact collation, script writing, set design/production and launch marketing. We also offer a photographic and lyric source service, whereby world-class photographers and artists can be accessed economically for work on advertising campaigns, book compilation, magazine design and merchandising. Recent clients such as Gum@Saatchi have used sourced lyrics for a short film while other clients have posted billboards in Times Square, New York and public transport livery throughout North America and Europe.

"I have great admiration and respect for Martin; he somehow manages to produce incredible amounts of work of the highest calibre and yet still meet the most daunting of deadlines. When is working for Dr. Martens, our meetings are always hugely enjoyable, but very professional - it is totally clear that he is fully immersed in the job at hand. Martin has remained a trusted friend to the brand, who doesn't presume to judge, but will always listen and return an honest opinion."
Stephen Griggs, Chairman of Dr. Martens
